Architects Practicing Architecture
Gilchrist Ross Crowe Architects’ (GRC) three principals have 105 years of experience. Each principal brings a unique and recognized strength to the firm. The common denominator is that each partner strives for excellence. In this pursuit GRC has grown to enjoy the more challenging projects. GRC’s philosophy of its Principal Architects practicing architecture keeps the principals personally working on every project. This allows us to serve the client better than our competition most of which are much larger firms.
Busy summer for GRC - September 29, 2014
GRC had a busy summer working on multiple renovation projects. Included were projects for FSU Athletics and FSU's College of Motion Picture Arts. Athletics work included the reconfiguration of the Head Football Coach's football office suite, as well as improvements to restrooms and the locker room. Film School facilities received a major space planning overhaul, significant acoustical improvements, and a new aesthetic to better represent the College's image. The renovation resulted from the need to incorporate a relocated department from South Florida into the existing curriculum. As the departments merged, the administrative wing was relocated to an upper floor level previously assigned to another program, giving way to additional classrooms and lab spaces on the lower levels.
